Music is fun, that's why we do it!

Here you can see a picture of my fellow band members I took on stage recently.
As you can see both the people on stage have got smiles on their faces. Now this is an often neglected area of music education. Why should the study of music be so serious? As far as I’m concerned music should be an enjoyable activity and when I conduct my lessons I try my very best to make them as fun as possible.

I see what the students respond favourably to and take the lesson from there.

When you play, you play what you practice. If you practice enjoying yourself then this will come out in your playing.

In my experience if someone is having fun you can teach them just about anything, even the guitar!
