Week 1 - Posture Position Poise

The first week teaches you how to hold the guitar correctly taking into account your body shape and style of guitar. You will learn how to establish comfortable and effective hand positions with relaxation exercises to eliminate wrist strain.

Week 2 - Changing Chords

The second week teaches how to change chords and coordinate this with your strumming. We establish practice schedules and learn how to identify and correct flaws in your technique. Information is practical designed to get you playing straight up!

Week 3 - Playing 3 Chord Songs

Week 3 you learn to play 3-chord songs. We identify fundamental chord shapes on the guitar and look at how the major scale relates to chord construction - this information allows you to work out chords for yourself.

Week 4 - Barre Chords

Week 4 introduces moveable shapes. We learn how to make a barre with the left hand and move chords up and down the fret board. This information unlocks a rich vocabulary of chords, free from charts and diagrams, allowing you to play almost any chord.
